Mechanical Fitter

Our client is a Local Leader in Mining Equipment Overhaul & Manufacturing and is a respected brand in the market. We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to support their Underground Mining overhauls section for ongoing work that is likely to transition into a full time permanent position

What’s Involved?

• Strip, assess and rebuild of Underground Coal Mining equipment to underground mining standard
• Rebuild Diesel Loader / Coal Trams
• Mechanical and hydraulic assembly
• Read drawings and diagrams

What we’re looking for:

• Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Proven Diesel Loader / Coal Tram rebuild experience preferred
• Attention to detail and industry standards
• Excellent work references that can support your application

What we can offer you:

• $59.63 - $60.16 / hour - Casual rate
• Overtime available
• 6 AM - 2 PM - Day shift
• Ongoing work
• Potential for full time permanent
• Maitland region, workshop based
• Ongoing support from your Randstad team
• ASAP Start
